What We Believe
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The Nature of God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a
godly life.
Human Nature and Sin
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life.
Salvation
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a
godly life.
The Church
We believe in the local church, consisting of a community of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and organized for worship, service and fellowship.
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior. The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the cup, memorialize the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Christian Living
We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.
Giving
We believe in giving in accordance with the Word of God, we believe giving should be done with a cheerful heart.
